What is it about Elizabeth Leachman that triggers Barrett Dahl so much? That dude isn’t right.

I wondered about this for a long time until I saw it mentioned that she's a member of Autism Speaks in one of her videos. I'm not sure why that triggers him but it sets him off in some way.
How would that have gotten your daughter one?
What are your daughter's PRs? Coaches can recruit anyone they choose to. Of course they will take a chance on her over just a good runner. If she gets healthy, she is too 5 for them. 99% of good runners will never be fast enough.
I really don't know what triggers all of these ppl, especially parents. I am also not sure how someone doesn't think she didn't earn this. The kid has bona fide results. She is also a great kid. Yes, she has taken time off. Hey, guess what, so did Jakob Ingebrigtsen and tons of other runners.
I get it, we all want the best for our kids. I also understand how f'd up the recruiting world is this year. At least be grateful you don't have a HS boy where it is even worse. But please stop trashing other kids.
Schools can recruit whomever they want. Sure, it would be great to signed by Stanford. Both of my kids wanted to go there as well, were recruited and had the grades. Those years Stanford got some great kids as they always do, and it didn't work out for my boys. Mine ended up elsewhere and it worked out fine. Try to be happy for these kids. They have all worked hard.

Cardinal. It's the Stanford Cardinal.

There's not really "all of these ppl...". As stated many times above, it's 1 stalker posting under different VPN's, and hitting the down arrows. 1 other person may have tagged along.
There's no chance that multiple people in the running world would root against one of the greatest high school female runners of all time, who is also, by all accounts an outstanding human with a strong, faithful upbringing.
Congrats to one of the greatest of all time going to her dream school, and showing that she is willing to put in the work to return to her elite status and once again. She will have to earn what most of us believe she already deserves based on her amazing success for her first 3 years in high school. As a fan of the sport and supporter of young athletes, I pray that her comeback will be far greater than the setback. Worst case scenario, she gets a great education. Go get 'em, Beth!
Maybe she got in on grades alone. Remember Claudia Lane from Malibu years ago? She won Footlocker twice and was a top HS runner. She got into Dartmouth, an Ivy League just on her grades. She pretty much decided to quit running her senior year in High School. She was really short, had odd form, and was hurting her legs.
If I was Katelyn Tuohy, I would have gone to Stanford too. NC State is a mediocre academic school. Sure- Tuohy won TEAM NCAA 3 times, and individual once, but I would rather have Stanford diploma on my resume and maybe 1-2 individual titles. She was sick during her last NCAA XC run... and maybe would NOT have been sick all the time in that NC State weather. Dalia Frias from Manhattan Beach, CA made MASSIVE mistake. She was a top 7 HS girl that year, and one of the top milers ever back then. Oddly chose Duke and wanted to leave after one semester. Entered transfer portal, and chose UCLA supposedly for Newbury Park's HS coach who was supposed to coach there. She posted on her Insta that she was a BRUIN. After ONE day, announces on Insta that she transferred to Oregon. Why? Very poor academics with an 82% acceptance rate. She transferred there and promptly broke both of her feet and other injuries for 1 year. She she skipped two TOP academic schools for a dud!
