there was a mexican guy i think that ran 212 marathon back in the day and fought for a boxing title, he probably has a third thing.
i have friends who are super hero types
one guy placed second in HS 100m NYC, missed his PGA professional coach by plus 3, won several semi pro events, was a pro rock singer, and became an artist, sold some pieces in the five to ten thousand range.
another guy was special forces, a medical doctor, 100m in 11 low, high end massage therapist and chiro, cage fighter, sold lsd at grateful dead concerts.
another fellow has a phd in religious studies, teaches meditation to monks, translates nuclear documents from french to english, is a ghost buster, pig farmer, and ex british special forces, drove a limo as a young man and catered mick jagger, bob marley, and a model that turned out to live next door to my place.

The only thing you did was pick friends that are a whole lot better at life than you are.
This is a great thread. But I think it would be much better with three things you are currently better at. If you used to run 30mn for the 10k but now run 40mn because you lift, you shouldn’t get to include the 30mn 10k and the lifting.
1. Half Marathon 1:10.42 PB. I figure this eliminates essentially 99.9% of the worlds population
2. Magic: The Gathering match.(played on the pro tour for awhile) Huge Nerd bonus points.
3. Bowling- multiple 300 games and have averaged in the 220's for a season.

I don't know. Give Nuguse a few years playing #2 and he maybe tops you. He spent his early years bowling prior to his PE teacher discovering that he could run really fast, and seems like he could probably master some nerd video game.
kinda the whole point of the game is that they dont get "2 years" to perfect something. It has to be an already acquired skill/talent. MTG is a collectible card game btw, not a video game, its highly strategic.

I’m ranked in the top 400 on mariokart64.com (time trials) and have won tournaments. I don’t know most of the guys ranked above me, but most are nerds, and I doubt any of them can beat me in an Armwrestle (I’m a 4 time national champion). If by some miracle someone could, although my running is slow for the standards of this forum, I feel certain it’s enough of a safety cushion to guarantee nobody could beat me at all 3. But if someone can I’d love to meet them 🙂
1. 100m swim race in flippers in a 25m pool. When I was training I was in a world class squad & in the top 10% in the squad. When we did flipper sets I was easily the best.
2. Beer sculling. I have no gag reflex.
3. Total number of scars on my body. My condo collapsed 6 months ago & I got hit by hundreds of bits of concrete.
Maybe disc golf drive for distance, 7 yard sprint started arbitrarily (thanks, Matt London) and quickly reciting lifting, health and hormone related words?
Jk, I may only be top 1% in those, they're pretty worthless anyway. There's this guy on IG who runs a 10.5 100m and throws disc golf 700 feet and is an engineer, so that blows all of it away
