Odd. There are enough good people that I can hope many will stick to: “I detest hate and cannot stand violence. I’ll serve as the better example because I’m a true patriot, and I believe in America.”
They can take this moment to remember their best values and help spread them to all: “It’s true that you can hate the hateful actions and hateful attitudes. But that means you have to combat hate with love. I believe Charlie was a man of God, and he believed in peaceful debate. It’s terribly, terribly wrong to jump to ‘some hate can’t be negotiated out.’”
Because she said in her speech not to hate and then Trump in his speech did hate
A Catholic philosophy professor posted this about Erika Kirk’s speech:
”Beautiful and moving words which should be taken to heart, especially the advice to young men and women about marriage and family. That's where hope for the young and for the country lies, not in revenge fantasies that can only accelerate the death spiral of our political culture.”
Why wouldn’t he hate his opponents? They went along with the Russiagate lie for years, went after him in the courts or supported it, and old friends ghosted him when he ran for President. Justified.
Perhaps Erika's example will have a similar effect on Trump. It was a fantastic memorial yesterday. Turning Point USA will grow stronger & the libs will hate that.
MAGA!
Why would we hate it? Serious question. I’m a lib and don’t really know anything about Turning Point USA and hadn’t heard of Charlie Kirk at all until the tragic incident

I don’t understand what I’m supposed to be so angry about
“Kirk didn’t hate his opponents (soft loser)…I hate my opponents! (especially younger, more charismatic ones that recently called for the full release of the Epstein files) Sorry, Erika. (Charlie said the wrong thing and I won’t tolerate any threats to my unrivaled rule)
Trump used to take the high road but was still criticized for it. .
Ah. When, exactly, was this?
And if any of your opponents might care to come up with examples of him along a similar timeline refusing to take the high road, what examples do you think they’d try to trot out, and why would they be wrong?
I hate socialists/communists /liberals/democrats too. Anybody who has read history, anybody who reads at all hates socialism and the people trying to promote that hell on earth political philosophy.
