Farken told ARD after the race that the contact with Hocker "wouldn’t have made any difference. Maybe then I would have been eighth or seventh. Yes, great."
After Farken's result today, I think it's more than fair to say Hocker's strong elbow and impediment did make a difference...
Farken(3:37.52) closed with a 13.54 in yesterday's semi that was won in 3:36.64
Farken(3:35.15) closed with a 12.83 in today's final that was won in 3:34.10.
Today's race was over 2 seconds faster and he closed .71 seconds faster over the last 100m. It is fair to say that Farken had the gas to make the final on his own accord, Hocker was his own worst enemy by running a dumb and selfish race. Well deserved DQ and people need to shut up about this
Posts like this are why this site is a joke. Its beyond obvious that Cole had absolutely no choice but to do what he did.
Oh, someone's mommy complained? Your DQ'D !!!!
You are making this site a joke. Cole could go around like everybody else, but he never wants to do. One time he must learn the lesson. You can't go through bodies.
Have you all seen how real sportsmen race? Around the others outside in the third line. Congratulations Nader and Farken. Well shown how to race fair!
