Brosnan book: any others purchasing?

The same when went to B&N and they said they had one copy and sold it ( I’m assuming they will replace and refill it). But I just downloaded the audio instead.

Honestly, Beyond Fast is one of the three best running books ever written (specifically, #3 behind oar and rwtb in my opinion) and will remain a classic in the genre for decades.

Sean's personal background, building performance culture from 0, defeating dumb CA lockdown bureaucrats, hard/smart training, #5 runner's comeback from bad disease, team's celebrity status, and the final description of running lane championship are all fascinating. I would have liked to read about what went wrong for him at ucla, but alas that is for his next book and wouldn't have really fit into this deserved hero story.

One of the greatest works in modern literature. You will laugh, you will cry, you will question everything you know. This book has not only changed my life, but also everyone I know. I will be buying multiple copies and going door to door asking people if they are ready to accept Brosnan in to their life.

I was really happy to pick it up here in Boston. I’ve already started it, and the only thing is I wish it was signed. Looks like I’ll have to bring my copy to the US Champs and track down Sean Brosnan for a signature.

You guys don't want to miss out, Brosnan is selling DOZENS of books. He might even sell 100.

Beyond Fast is doing well on Amazon. Number one in multiple categories and is an orange tag best seller. Can’t say I’m surprised

I’m listening to the audio book with an open mind and loving it so far! It’s interesting to see how everything with NP happened from Brosnan’s perspective. I gotta admire the unwavering belief he has in himself and am rooting for his pro group to be successful. If I were a college grad without an offer from Swoosh TC or OAC, I would sign with Brosnan

It is NOT doing well on amazon. It's number 1 in the non-existent track and field category. The number 2 book in that category is Born to Run, which is nearly 20 years old.

Glad you brought this up. Did the hard-hitting journalists at Letsrun ask him why it was taking so long to announce a group, especially when he keeps saying it's right around the corner?

Beyond cheating.

When someone breaks barriers, thinks independently, and wins without following the norm, hate often follows and that’s the unfortunate BS of human nature and it’s just the reality of life sometimes. Coach Sean Brosnan is proof of that. As one of the best coaches in the U.S., his success and bold approach inspire many, even as they challenge others. I ordered his book and look forward to reading it and to see his future coaching team.
So I agree with you if I were a college grad / pro runner then Brosnan would be a top coach to consider.

I don't know if I'll end up getting the book, but as a high school track and xc coach, I'm sure it would be a very easy read.

Brosnan's a good coach. Even his most ardent haters should be able to admit that. But for me, he also comes off as a salesman, liar, exaggerator, manipulator, etc. Not that those traits ever held anybody back from telling a good story.

I’ll probably never read the book, but if it’s about the brothers, it’s a good book, and if it’s about him, not so much.

Sean Brosnan gets hate because he’s one of the best coaches in the U.S., someone who isn’t afraid to do things differently. Honestly, we all know most of the hate comes from the same people who keep posting the same nonsense over and over. Remember, haters don’t waste their energy criticizing someone beneath them; they only go after those who are above them. By the way, I’m almost finished listening to the book, and it’s really good and that the d@mn truth.

Shouldn’t he have had unwavering belief in his runners? They ran the races and not him.
