Transitioning from male to female or vice versa is not medically possible for humans at this point.
Gymnastics is one of the only sports in which biologically male athletes competing in women's competitions don't really pose much of a threat. The events in men's and women's gymnastics are different and a lot of the women's events require flexibility that biological males don't have. It's pretty easy for Simone Biles to preach about an issue that will never affect her the way it affects female athletes in other sports and make liberal fans happy. She's like a liberal living in a small town saying that homeless people should be able to set up encampments wherever they want in big cities - oh sorry I meant to say people experiencing homelessness

That's why "competing in men's gymnastics" has never been an option for a trans woman. She wants to do beam and uneven bars, not still rings and pommel horse.
Are there trans women gymnasts who either want to or can compete at an elite level? Or even at NCAA level? Perhaps a non issue in W gymnastics? But very much an issue in most sports.
I bet there are trans girls who want to compete as gymnasts at an elite level. Whether they can compete at an elite level is another question.

You completely miss the point. Transgender women are not men first off. If an actual MAN competed against her that would be unfair. Trans women are not men. Many have been on HRT for many years and are biologically female after years of taking estrogen.
