Actually I could see Blanks and Ky going back and forth for a hot pace, with Nico stalking in 3rd until the final 150. That's probably the only scenario where someone like Coscoran doesn't win.
Maybe I’m underestimating Coscoran, but I think either Blanks or Robinson might go hard from 1K out and I like one of those two or Young to win. Young would be my guess.
Nia Akins got paid 10k to run 2:13 and a dnf in the 1500m. That’s pretty wild if you think about

Wonder if she’s been forced to taper off the massive amounts of [fruit] juice she was getting from the local pharma market? We’ll probably see her back soon enough. She’s no better or worse than any of the Africans frankly. They’re all fruit juiced to the gills.
1. I love how the doubling format is getting athletes into other events, but it was really hard to understand the outcome of the 400/400H group in real-time. With Cockrell falling back, it was clear the Slam was open to the field, but I had no idea who won it at the end. Not sure how to fix this from a viewer standpoint, but it feels like too much math to make for a smooth viewing experience.
2. SML's 100H/100m double is so impressive. Because she is so dominant in her main event, it can sometimes be tough to put into perspective just how talented she is; 11.21 in a flat wind is MOVING and she more than held her own against the world's best in the 100H. I hope we get to see her go all on the 200/400 at some point sooner rather than later.
3. Mary Moraa has some of the most baffling tactics I have ever seen. If you're gonna go tank the 1500, whatever, but at least put forward a decent showing in the other event! I hope she doesn't get the invite back next year.

If you recall, Keely had an injury towards the end of the indoor season last year too. It's likely that she's completely fine and caught it early enough to not sacrifice the season.
