A thread mentioning a very noteworthy running-related development, about a person who just won two indoor national championships (and 5th 1500-meter title in a row), in the Pro News/Info/Results section, turns into a thread with 90-95% of the posts ranting about the runner's gender identity and preferred pronouns, and the semantics of the election results.
Good heavens.
It's so ridiculous people can't go one thread without focusing on the they/them thing. I guess it works both ways because if someone says "she" then people say they are bigots.
But it would be nice if we could just discus Nikki going to Julie. Julie's a good coach and I think it's a good move for both parties.
Wejo pontificating like a good San Franciscan. Only took a couple of months to turn you into a beta male.

Look at every Nikki thread on Nikki and count up how much of the former you see and how much of the latter. It’s not comparable.
Nikki resigned with Luluman and will be coached by Julie Benson.
wow, coming to Flag and working with Mike Smith was the best thing they ever did for their career and now they're switching coaches. hope it works out.
I have a feeling this is a control thing - Nikki is big into trans advocacy and with just Benson they can control who works out with them, but as part of a Nike team it's out of Nikkis hands, and there are a lot of athletes, especially women, who have a MAJOR issue with trans participating in sports.
Most women would be OK with her, excuse me, them, participating. Nikki may consider themselves to be trans but they really aren’t in the truest sense of the word. Biologically they are a female. Women have issues with someone that transitioned from male to female competing against them, as they should.
Nik is probably too afraid of being trans-shamed, to mention what would be truly fair in its sport: Nik should be allowed to compete against men in men's events - but with men finally standing up and taking estrogen, to take away their unfair athletic advantages. End the patriarchy in men's athletics !! - Men should be as handicapped as Nik.

Nikki wants to talk about. It’s give her an identity. Otherwise she’s lost
You basically hate that she hates hatred, because that's all she said (and yes, I do not buy the idea of individually curated pronouns), that she hates those who show hatred of Muslims, gays, etc. That's not bigotry. What she opposes is bigotry.
To the person that said the terminology isn't that hard: no, it is, because it is constantly changing and individually altered and changed at will or whim. The constantly expanding universe of lgbtq+ is in fact inherently expandable because it is in part an attempt to deny the identification with any group whatsoever, to say that one's particular gender/sexuality/sexual preferences, etc. are individual to oneself and cannot be shared with others; the constant fragmenting of the group is proof. I have a suggestion for the answer to this, take on an individual name, say, Nikki, and that is who you are: we are each an experiment of one, as George Sheehan said.

They ENJOY getting 'outraged'...standing by, not really paying attention...just waiting and hoping for a 'slip of the tongue' by a normal, decent person. ..."VICTIM" ...as South Park clearly explained to the world recently.

I hear that with the current buzz surrounding Nik, Nik has been cast in lead role for "Around the Bend: The Flo-Jo Chronicle". Could be interesting. I hope Nik can keep up and if successful...to go with the two 2025 World Championship Golds this year...maybe an OSCAR ! ...in the category of: BEST
Interesting. Sorry to get back to the primary topic, but it's interesting that Mike Smith was mentored by Pat Henner at Georgetown, and now Hiltz is going to Juli Benson, who used to be married to Pat Henner. We'll see how this works out!

That's a good point, and quite likely the aim, to build up a trans men's team to compete in women's events. Hopefully more testing will soon be done and put a permanent stop to this extreme abuse of biologically real XX women.
I don’t care that Hiltz competes in the women’s division- she is a woman. I care much more about not letting men in women’s sports.
You're posting about someone who admits to being a boy growing up, who admits being trans now to compete on women's events, and who has never been tested to confirm actually being a women. Just because some people think so does not make it so.
