Perfect tactical race from Hiltz. Stayed in 5th, then 3rd, always edging up. Stuck behind Morris, then went to the lead and defended it at the bell. Full of run to hold off Johnson.
Agreed - this was a more impressive win for Nikki than the 3k. Had control of the race the whole time and closed well on tired legs.
Not a bad run from Tuohy. I think it was better than yesterday.
Dani Jones one spot ahead of Tuohy (4:09.37) and Taryn Rawlings two spots behind her (4:11.05) just ran 4:22 at BU a couple weeks ago just to put in perspective. Not where she wants to be I’m guessing but not a bad run.
Great race for Kessler and probably no way to beat him today, but man if you’re Prakel, at some point you gotta stop running extra distance and just wait for one last move in the homestretch.
I hope someone like Sam Prakel is able to look back at their career positively as always in the mix. In a sport only praised for making teams, its something to be proud of
