We merged two threads into 1. The other was called NFL talk.

So 31 billionaire owners all have the wool pulled over their eyes? Roflmao! That's high level delusion there.
The media is so desperate to get rid of those hated white people they have stooped (with the league) to rigging games in order to have some rather brainless QBs like Jayden Daniels and Jaylen Hurts presented as true superstars. Not without favorable officiating they aren’t. Never mind the manufactured stardom of top-flopper Mahomes. Yeah, the brainless will call the truth racist but it’s the other way around. Let’s see how the officials work to help the Chiefs in the Superbowl.
Widespread rigging (owners, executives, deciding on outcomes), no. But I do think especially with sports betting becoming more prevalent, there is definitely players who have taken bribes to throw games, and refs who have taken bribes to try to influence the outcome of games.

I think this is very reasonable. I imagine a lot of the rigging that will take place is less an entire team throwing an entire series (ala the Chicago Black Sox) and more a player winning his parlays, and missing a free throw, tossing an interception, or overthrowing the first baseman. A great deal of money can be made that way, and I think it would be difficult to detect.
