Can't find workers? Raise your wages. Employing illegals is a crime.
This will do wonders for stabilizing the consumer prices. /s
I can't tell what you want. Is it hacking up the genitals of confused kids, or importing slaves so that folks can have artificially cheap stuff? I bet you have an Amazon account, so you can take advantage of kids overseas, while simultaneously whining about how expensive things will be when workers no longer need to "hot bunk" so that hedonistic consumers and unscrupulous employers can maximize their spending power.
☝️No more cheap labor with the illegals. Now these business owners are going to have to pay real wages to attract American citizens. 😉
Higher business costs --> Higher prices for consumers --> Inflation --> =(
Interesting, but not all inflation is created equally.
For example, inflation that happens because the government prints money and tells people to stay at home and do nothing is one thing. Prices rise because the money supply increases, not because anyone is getting any value. Nothing of value is ever produced because the overall amount of work in the system goes down, despite the existence of more dollars.
However when prices rise due to increased costs, that money is used to generate work. And since that work is domestic, it isn't wired overseas or south of the border. Ideally it isn't even spent on imported junk from Amazon, but rather paid out to other local businesses. That's a healthy local economy where the work of locals goes to support other locals. In that scenario rising prices are not something to be feared.
Today I talked to the guy who runs the local housecleaning service I use. He said he's lost workers as a result of the immigration crackdown. Because he doesn't have enough workers anymore, he's now having to turn down housecleaning jobs. He said a friend of his is having the same problem with his landscaping business. They can't find workers.
Then he should raise his price. The housekeeping market is out there as lazy sloppy homeowners are willing to fork out the higher price. Quite be bitchy and start being smarter.
Building a business based on breaking the law is pretty dumb. Everyone knows when you don't have the power to write the law you shouldn't invest significantly in breaking it.
I oppose both illegal immigration and minimum wage. While they can both impact supply and demand in a labor market, they are separate issues for the following reasons:
1. Minimum wage is a price floor that locks low-performing domestic workers out of work. It is the main driver of the rampant homelessness, drug use, and vagrancy that is wrecking many American cities. It says "if this person can't generate you X per hour (plus payroll tax and insurance) then don't hire him." And so many folks simply can't generate that much value so they go unemployed, accept handouts. and many use drugs, which are generally permitted or tacitly permitted in high-minimum-wage markets.
2. Illegal immigration creates arbitrage so that workers from lower wage markets can enter and undercut domestic workers so long as they keep their living costs low. This is the same phenomenon seen on oil rigs, shale towns, and gold strikes. Business owners love it, workers like it, but very little of the money stays local. It is not a recipe for a stable economy or a stable society.
In the long run employers, employees, retirees, and children are all in the same boat and would do well to build a ladder with rungs at every height and with incentives to keep all of the work and all of the money local.

These perspectives are contradictory. On one hand you are arguing the free market should govern wage levels, claiming supply and demand will naturally determine appropriate wages for workers, instead of minimum wages.
However, when the conversation shifts to immigration, you are supporting interventions or restrictions that limit how freely market forces operate.
Why should the market be trusted to set wages in one context but not in another?

A criminal/ a convicted felon and rapist is the potus. what exactly is your point?
The Republican ideal is certain people will be allowed to commit crimes and others will be beholden to the law. Those people like this poster he believes should not be beholden to the law. Instead, he believes the law should protect him and those like him from others without actually binding them.

No, false charges and made up garbage because the real criminals in the WH didn't want him in to expose their corruption. He's done more good in less than a week than Biden/Harris did in 4 years. Cry harder you little sissy, or move as no one will miss you

Yep, inflation is fine as long as wages grow at the same pace. The government borrowing money and injecting it into the economy will mathematically never lead to the desired wage growth because of interest costs.
Math and economics are very hard for liberal types it seems.
