Running is the only pro sport like this. So the pro stream only has no sound & the main feed keeps bouncing around -- that's what everyone's doing with this right?
Has the main feed covered the half at all since the full marathons started? I've been watching the half stream with no audio and every time I click back to the main broadcast, they're talking about something else.
Ah good to know there's a separate feed. Half is here:
The local feed is almost all human interest stories and commercials with an occasional comment by Des Linden . Fortunately they have a split screen showing the top runners . This is what I expected .
The dedicated half marathon stream is great. They have had the men’s and women’s leaders in screen the whole time. No commentary but 🤌
How do I get that, please?

A good act does not wash out the bad, nor a bad act the good

No it's puff piece after puff piece, interview after interview. We're seeing world class runners go for world class times & coverage is confined to anything but the race. You don't see this with a lot of other endurance sports -- even smaller ones. Would like to see stuff like this centralized. I'm willing to pay for a subscription for a bare minimum level of coverage. Problem is road races are all independent from one another. Need them to coordinate & get their rights to the same platform & have that platform put out consistent coverage. This is awful.
Everyone saying Klecker will win because his 10K is closer to the HM than Mantz’s marathon is high as a kite.
People are already forgetting that Mantz won both the Boulder to Boulder 10K and Twin Cities 10 Miler in the middle of marathon builds. Just imagine the damage he can do when focusing solely on the half marathon in temperatures he’s used to training at in Provo.
Houston is going to be another American 1-2 for Mantz and Young. Only way Mantz doesn't win is if he has a bad day and Young finally has the balls to step in front of him mid-race and go for it.
90% chance Klecker overestimates the feeling/pace of a half marathon and loses contact the last 5k/3 miles.
From a quick scan of those results, the guys Mantz beat to win those races aren't as good as Klecker. I'm picking Klecker.
Clearly I woke up high this morning. Let’s go, Mantz! 😄
