28:08 on the roads is super solid. Shows the depth in running rn to have 26 guys in front of him & 3 under 27. 75+ under 29min. Almost 700 runners under 34min. You love to see it.
Shows sub-2:10 potential, which, in this day & age, doesn't make you competitive up front but is still impressive to me. We know he has good endurance. No reason not to go after 2:08-2:09 @ London if the weather is good.
