He was blocked by the good old boys and lobbyists he tried to get rid of. Jimmy Carter is the prime example of what happens when you elect a President that does what you say if you want them to do. He tried to drain the swamp and do what was right and pay the price.
Apparently he did drain the swamp in Georgia by streamlining the state government, and making it easier to run a business. He tried to do the same thing in Washington, to no avail.

The Georgia Swamp grew back thicker than ever. He did kind acts but was not a leader and not a Christian as defined by America First Christian Nationalists.
