I noticed a lot of people pause their watches during recoveries on Strava (and log their warm up and cool down separately) so that when they post a workout like "8x1 mile @ 6:00/mi pace" the Strava pace is exactly 6:00/mi.
I'm one of the few Strava users among those I follow that keep the watch running / timing during the recovery intervals and don't post the warm up and cool down separately. What this means is that when I post a workout titled "8x1 mile @6:00/mi" or "10x300m @ 45 seconds" the Strava pace for the activity could be 8:00/mi or 10:00/mi taking into account walking recoveries, etc.
Anyone can check the splits to see that I actually did the workout I said I did, but I wonder if there are people who take it less seriously because the Strava pace for the entire activity is so slow?
