Bob Seger was a top level high school runner at Pioneer High School in Ann Arbor. He was considered one of the best in Michigan. He ran in the early 60's, so I cannot find any of his times.

I was actually in that race with Cage and it did happen. This is not a goof -- he defecated, and I was right behind him so it was difficult for me to finish. It was troubling and I thought I could PR in that race so I was in a sour mood but afterwards he came up to me and apologized, told me he might quit track and get into theater and then movies because he was RELATED TO FRANCIS FORD COPPOLA.
