I would trust the school website and WA better on spelling. It's possible coaches don't fill out forms correctly when registering their athletes for meets (hence misspellings in live results and TFRRS)

I don't think that it's harder but they did get some rain so it was a bit softer. When the ACC was held the course was dry. The course in Cary does have a pretty steep hill in the woods and a slight grade up to the finishing area. A lot of the wooded area is on a harder surface that is similar to crushed limestone. Hartman and a few others even raced the ACCs in flats.

I was surprised that Hartman didn't win by a bigger margin, though. There is only a week off before the championship so some of the runners, including Hartman & others near the top, may not have been at full throttle once they knew the team was good.
