So if anyone thinks differently from you on matters, that makes the board alt right? So if everyone doesn’t vote the same, the board is alt right? Did you see the poll in 2020 that close to 70% of LRC voted left?
So this just means you are incapable of engaging with people who have different beliefs and view points, even if it is only the minority. That says a lot about your tolerance for difference.
This is off topic, but since talking about moderation practices seems to largely be out of bounds, which is a weird stance for allegedly free speech advocates and rojo is reading the tread...
The moderation philosophy states
Our goal is to provide an open, collegial forum where runners or fans of running can talk about running and other topics.
We believe in free expression. We believe in civility. We also believe anonymity can result in more honest and open debate.
I'm curious if the brojos ever reflect on how this is working out and consider adapting the ground rules given the impression many have that civility and honest debate seem to be in short supply here. To be clear I'm referring to behaviors enabled by anonymity that lack civility, not topics or viewpoints that I personally disagree with.
The "block (registered) posters" feature, for instance, seems kind of silly when the most egregious trollish behavior is via unregistered IDs.
