So Ingebrigtsen clearly didn't deny he's running Copenhagen. Additionally, it's certainly worth noting if you go to the race's tracking app, there is an athlete with bib #2 who doesn't have a name but does have the same age as Jakob Ingebrigtsen (20-24), albeit the country is listed as Denmark. Is that a placeholder for Jakob? Time will tell.

Do you not realize Denmark and Norway are two different countries? Their union which dates from the 1300s ended in 1814.

This news gives me Sifan Hassan vibes. Just the fact that we’re even discussing the WR potential gives me a feeling he could medal at a wider range of distances in a future Olympics/World Champs.

Kiplimo is no more threatened by Jakob at the half marathon than he would be at World Cross Country, that is to say, not at all.
