Guess they're all normal and not doping, accoridng to your logic then👍
Way to put words in my mouth. Obviously there's a lot of gray area doping and some full bore stuff going on as well. It's just that it's not easily correlated to physique, as is readily apparent in Knighton's case. Anybody who's been an athlete across multiple sports and/or who's worked w/ young people in diverse athletic settings knows that there are a lot of different types of natural physiques. Kishane Thompson is no more likely a steroid abuser b/c he's a big, strong, NFL-looking dude than is Knighton, who, by the way, was one of the top high school football players in America when he was even skinnier than he is now.
The much better indicator is progression. Someone like Lyles has had very slow, consistent performance progression over a decade of elite sprinting. Thompson jetted up almost out of nowhere (though he had dealt w/ a lot of injuries in fairness to him). Knighton dropped half a second off his PB at 18 and then hasn't come close to that since.
