I think she must have bought into all of that VALBYMANIA horsecrap that people were feeding here. She needs to step back and take a HARD look at reality and stop listening to the Letrsun pundits.
Do you really think she spends on time on this sh*thole website? Even if someone told her some quotes, do you think she cares what a bunch of over the hill incels think?
jfk
Roid raging or something? This level of vitriol over one of the tamer comments on this random website - I am concerned for you.
Not sure where you are getting those numbers, since RW was saying something like $650k-$850k/yr.
Is that what a potential multi-national-champion, and multi-Top8 world and Olympics champion can command now? (aka, Monson, Cranny, Schweizer type)?
I suppose all the clauses, bonuses factor into it. That is what I find most curious: the current NIL sponsor has right-of-first-refusal, but does that include every clause detail? For example, what if one offer places no restrictions on training location, but another does?
BTW, for those of you wondering whether she attended the closing ceremony (since she doesn’t seem to have anything on Instagram wrt it), I did see her in someone else’s collection of photos.

Your whole premise is wrong. Most of the informed posters on other threads were in agreement that breaking into top 15 or top 12 would be pretty good, if not amazing. Any posts saying she had high chances of medaling were probably meant to pull the chains of guys like you.

Edit, this is actually what I meant to convey:

In retrospect, maybe she thinks she could have placed higher if she just went out and led a solo even-split paced race, rather than just trying to key off of what Schweizer was doing. (That was actually suggested in one of the pre-race threads here, where someone countered she would look “foolish” if she tried that.) She didn’t expect the race to go out so slow, and trying an even-split evidently wasn’t in Plan B.
Of course she would have eventually gotten swallowed up if she had taken the first half out faster. But maybe by fewer than 10 athletes.

After the race, I was one saying her experience racing in the pack was invaluable. But on retrospect, what if she had instead pulled an Agate Caune at her first Olympics (going out hard from the gun building a big lead)? That certainly would have been memorable, and she likely would not have placed any lower. It would have been remembered (by good and bad pundits) for years.

I don’t know what she has planned for a pro career, but maybe in International races she might consider just taking everyone of them out solo, for better or worse, like she did her collegiate races. I enjoyed what Christin-Wurth Thomas race that way. She did it almost everytime I watched, and though she would eventually get caught usually, I nonetheless remember her moxy.

Hey Dad has screwed her chance of doing things right. Everyone knows it and it’s sad
