Questions on peacock and replaying stuff. How long until session has finished until you can watch the replay?? Right now on main feed for this morning it says " replay available soon"?
Also why can you not rewind all the way to the start? Got up at about 6:30 am tried to rewind to watch steeple but it wouldn't go all the way back to beginning. This will become more important to me come Tuesday with the women's 1500 heats at 4:05 AM!!
. Seems likely that the two Americans through will need PBs and tactical perfection to medal. Hurdling technique aside, the heat winners looked smooth & relaxed and surely have another gear for the final.
I think Dwight Stones did a pretty good job calling the NCAA (meets), except he and the gal with him in the broadcast, made their point to heavily emphasize what is their understanding to be the ‘correct’ technique in going over the water barrier (which is the America taught method to try and clear as much water as possible.)
For McCabe and Markezich’s sake, I do hope they try what the best in the event are actually doing wrt the water barriers.
Hopefully a few years of pro training will reward McCabe and Markezich with improved technique, positioning and strength. Straightaway, 5000m speed in the 14:55--15:05 range would make both more competitive on the intl stage, imo.
