I’d say any world record quality multi would win 8-12 medals in the speed/power events.
The throwing events would be the biggest adjustment since all the implements are half the weight of the men’s, so it would be more about timing then muscling the throw. The hammer would be the trickiest and most time consuming. The other 3 would be a matter of timing the finish correctly and its full send.
Honestly these type of male vs female events would be very interesting and crowd pleasing to watch. Whatever happened to Duplantis vs Fraser-Price?
Personally, I would watch that! But I don't think they would be "crowd pleasing" for normal viewers. Beating up on ladies would not be a good bit of Olympic TV.
If we ran the top high school boys against the women's Olympic medalists, it would be a massive blow-out (except for the marathon) but who would really want to watch that? We already know what would happen...
Just about any top male 5K/10K runner could win every women's distance event even with all the rounds. 800, 1500, steeple, 5K, 10K and marathon, so 6 golds.
Well, I don't know about the marathon. There are a lot of American marathoners who would love to run a 2:11...
Yes, Karsten Warholm would win the 100-400, 100 hurdles, 400 hurdles, long jump, triple jump, potentially the high jump/pole vault/800 and who knows on any of the throws. He would also win the heptathlon.
I'd say him or Grant Holloway, both had experience in the multi-events in their youth days. and would take 100-400 plus both hurdles and few of the jumping events (Holloway has LJ pr of 8.17/8.32w and HJ of 2.16) plus the hep.
surprised only one person mentioned holloway, as he is the first guy i thought of. Multiple 43.xx relay splits at florida, plus the LJ/HJ combo you mentioned (also worth noting he set that HJ PR at age 16!!)
i think this is a lot more interesting if decathletes are excluded. if we are putting money on it, prob 95%+ are taking a decathlete.
it's the individual specialists that would make it intriguing. i don't know how many they would win, but i'd be interested to see the following athletes try:
Rai Benjamin: in my opinion he's the most athletic athlete in all of athletics right now so would absolutely love to see him give an honest effort at this
Grant Holloway: i'm not going to debate myself when it comes to "most athletic athlete in athletics", but Holloway makes me question my assertion about Rai
Mondo: prob the most underrated athlete in athletics right now in terms of people thinking he's just really good at the pole vault when in fact he could absolutely be a decathlete medalist if he got obsessed with it
Matt Boling: mostly just want to see him do this so he'll realize "wait, all this time i'm actually a decathlete?"
Jakob: gun to his head, i think he wins the 400m - marathon. as a reminder he has a 12:48 5000 pb and one result of a 27:54 Road 10K from 5 years ago and has been able to handle volume since he was a teenager.
Eliud: impossible is nothing right, let's see what he can do

Given it's international competition I am quite confident the marathon would be an absolute blow out if high school boys competed against the best women in the world. The top 17-18 year old East Africans are about as good as the best male distance runners the US has to offer.
For reference, in most sports I believe international class women are about equivalent to international class 12-14 year old boys depending on the sport.

If we exclude decathletes or field events, my thought is 1500 runners. It’s about as short as you go before athletes cannot compete in long distance events.
400m hurdles is the hack to win jumps and many other events.

The Olympic record is 2:23 for women. That's only slightly faster than Grant Fisher's easy long run pace.
I think Jakob along with most top 1500m runners can run a 47 high or 48 mid which would win the 400m.
No. Jakob has run 7:54 for 2 miles. If he could run say 48.25 he would have dipped under 3:26 by now. Mo Farah ran 3:28 and he probably could run 48.8 but he ran 8:03. When we discuss 400m, we are not discussing relay splits.
Phelps won 8 golds in one Olympics. I'd think most any male swimmer that does the events he did could easily take 8 women's golds in the 8 events Phelps got his golds.
I think Leon Marchand (the guy who broke Phelps' record in the 400 IM) could win EVERY individual women's swimming event in Paris. This includes getting through all the prelims and semifinals, so close to 40 races all told.
The guy is a monster; he was one of the best sprinters in the NCAA even though his best event takes 4 minutes.
i think the closest to a full sweep would be an 800 runner who would have a chance at winning the 100. I could totally see rudisha being able to run at least a 10.5 in his prime.. and I would also reckon hes got enough aerobic capacity to wreck house up until the 10k, which I think could be close. No chance in the marathon though.
here's the women's Paris schedule, excluding relays

No Rudisha could not have run 10.5. I am not sure you understand this sort of thing.
