All 3 are faster than the fastest guy from New Zealand, Australia, Great Britian and USA. Dopers.
...
Me and you thinking alike and I don't like tossing drug suspicion around but something is certainly puzzling with the new 800m runners cracking the All Time Top 10 List recently...🤔 The math NOT mathing 😳
Being faster than the fastest WHITE English speaker is simply not possible.
As a former 800 man I watched and rewatched that race. This is obviously opinion, but I didn't think Sedjati's form accurately showed how the body reacts during an 800. In other words, it wouldn't surprise me if he has some "help."
Unproven, but it's very suspicious to me. Also, his build is weird for an 800 runner and he is on the Algerian team. If he's clean he's amazing and my suspicions are a great compliment to him. Finally, when I PRed in the 800 I was super happy but all I could do was try to catch my breath for a few seconds. Maybe other people are different on that one.
What do you mean by: "he is on the Algerian team" ? In the history of Algerian sports, 6 Algerians were found guilty of doping (5 in Athletics, one footballer). Now compare that to the 400+ keynans ... And for god sake, North Africa is vast and diverse.
The same way USA is different from Mexico, Algeria is totally different from morocco.

1:41.56 - Sedjatp - drug cheat 100%, I thought this when he ran a 1:43 a few weeks ago.
1:41.58 - Wanyoni - unreal talent, I think he is legit
1:41.61 - Tual - dirty as they come look at his back muscles cleanly on roids. 3 sec pr during an Olympic year in France... I'm sure the drug tester are doing a good job with him... Ya right.

Not allowed to be faster than them morally superior Anglos.
The 800m hasn't gotten exciting it and SOME of its athletes has gotten suspicious. It is very possible that we could end up with 6 men running under 1:42. A race with 3 running 1:41 seems historically; however, may be short lived with the Olympics upcoming. In the right conditions we could see an 800m final with 4 or 5 guys running 1:41:and I WOULD NO LONGER be surprised. Plus add another new to the 1:41 club after the Olympics. 🤔 WTHeck

My little baby dont be a small mind and have bigger vision. These people dont see anything good in a region where the borders were created by colonialism. Hating at your brother of blood and culture will serve only the western show.
Do you know that France left their Generals to govern and serve as slaves to this day? So wake from your sleep.
Algerian liberation was a historic myth ... same as freedom nonsense spread by the South-African regime.

I know that they probably think that Algeria, Morocco, Pakistan, Turkey and Iran are the same, even if these countries are in different continents and do not share much other than religion.
But I'm stating facts, Algeria and Morocco are completely different and this is the case since antiquity not now.
Algerian Liberation was a massive accomplishment that moroccans will never ever dream of for eternity, the entire north of morocco is still under spanish occupation.

I didn't see anything that made me think that Hoppel couldn't compete. He was never the favorite for the Olympics. I don't think we've seen his best race. Hoppel is more under control than Wanyoni and Sedjati. He can either match their times or not.
It's an Olympic year. Athletes taking more risks in terms of drugs/training.
I'm going to suspend my belief in some of these...
Eg. Azedinne Habz, PR at age 27: 1:49, 3:38. Age 30 runs 1:43.7.

Why? Sedjati ran 1:43 last year, 1:43 (now 1:41) this year, and 1:43 in 2022. Hoppel has improved his time from last year almost as much as Sedjati. And in 6 attempts Hoppel has never beaten Sedjati.

tbh, he reminded of Katir or even Chef Gordon Ramzi
Too bad our guys weren't in the race! That is what can happen when you get a super fast pacer (48.8) and field. Multiple guys had two second pr's. Elliott Crestan is now a low 1:42 guy. What? And we kind of see that Wanyonyi couldn't run much faster with a pacer and competition than he did on his own in Kenya. Sedjati had shown he had a ton left in the tank in 1:43ish races. Hard to believe he is running mid-1:41 now. Maybe it's not only the effect of fast pacing and a willing field, as well as doping, but also maybe the shoe companies have produced magic spikes that work for the 800m, because a ton of guys hammered this one.
Well, in fairness to Wanyonyi, he wasn't really that close to the pacer to get the drifting benefit. And the first lap was also a tad too quick, especially with the surge at 300-350m.

Don't see the relevance to the thread, but who has been controlling the government of SA the last 30 yrs?
I feel like Cheminingwa's result is even more suspicious, 26yrs old and before this year was a 1:47-48 guy and today he drops a 1:42.08?
People can be a little naive to the realities of these Kenyan guys. He ran 1:46.20 last year but that was his only paced race of the season (Kip Keino) and he went through 600 in first at 1:16 before a 29+ last 200. Watching that race you can see this guy could run 1:44 if he paced it sensibly. Not saying he’s clean or not as I have no idea but opportunity plays a huge role for a guy like this.

Are you upset that the slow Americans can't produce times like this? Everyone is a drug cheat when they embarrass the Americans. Strange coincidence isn't it?
