Running 2:32 in warm conditions is a great result for him when 2:20 was his pre PE average in cool weather. Seems to be finally mostly recovered. Glad to see it.
This is solid if he is 50 years old or if it is a woman. It is not very good for a man in his 30s
It is a solid time for someone who recently had a pulmonary embolism. Even if he is in his 30s. You missed that context though, apparently.

You know, it's pretty easy to google weather to see what the temp/dew point or just take a look at the name of the race (Honolulu Marathon).
~15-20s/mile pace adjustment imo. He could have definitely run low/mid 2:20s yesterday. Solid run for place. Great pacing. Folks should take a lesson in how to run in conditions like that. I know some people who blew up pretty bad yesterday because they were set on a certain number & then fell off way more than they should have because of that.
Bitter ? not at all. I actually know Sage and was racing with him when he was at his best. My point is that he needs to realize that at some point you need to take care of yourself and not beat your body into the ground for the sake of running..... back off , run for fun and pursue your health. PS I have a fantastic life... you ?
mmm, thats not what it sounded like. But nice back track. Apology accepted.
