But then no one wanted to buy the ETFs and everyone who jumped on the ETFs bailed, sending the price into a tailspin. Also, equities have been on a tear since November. Why put your money into some kind of computer program thingy when you can own part of a company that actually makes things and has real profits that can be distributed to shareholders?
