This thread was initially titled, "Bekele is 41 and ran 2:04" but we merged a bunch of Bekele related threads into 1 and did a hybrid title. The others were called, "IT'S BEKELEMANIA!!!!! and "41 year old Kenenisa Bekele is several minutes faster than the fastest American marathoner" and "New Masters WR for Bekele"

    I like where your train of thought is going. I feel the same way about the Anta shoes. I find them unusually guilty in Bekele's 2"04"19. I actually wasn't expecting much from an almost retired 41 yr old from another era. My keen sense in space and time tells me Bekele didn't dope but also didn't just 'trained to a 2"04"19 just like that.

    China a huge market for everything. They are ahead of America in the telecommunication aspect now preparing for 6G and it shouldn't be different when it comes to sports gear. Anta isn't the only Chinese supershoe brand too.
