forreal? *bleep*. why 5 minimum though? I am asking in earnest.
For me, I wouldn’t lace up for less than 30 mins.
I think by the time you factor in getting ready and taking a shower etc after, there’s a strong argument for 45/50 mins minimum for a run.
Just my opinion though, most of my friends on Strava run for less than 30 mins regularly and it’s usually 5k.
I see. 5k is what I have time. Approx 25:30 Mins it takes me.
then i have to go in do pull ups in my apt wake up wife and kid get kid fed make lunch and drive son to daycare while wife goes to work leaving apt at 6:30am. However, reading these forums has got me wanting to try to run 5 miles daily instead of just 5k. So i will try to manage this.
probably a mix of 35-50min runs each day and maybe one run of 60-70 mins each weekend. I’ve noticed that staying fit as you age involves a lot more time doing basic biyatch gym work for maintenance

Sounds like you’re doing great! I need to get on the pull ups, maybe it’s me who should be dropping the extra miles!
I think it may have been Bob Larsen who said during a podcast one time that, if you are running more than 15 miles a week, you are doing for reasons other than health. I think that's more or less true.
