I told y'all the Brits are dirty. Lord Coerrupt probably told them to withdraw, fearing the British state sponsored drugs program was about to be finally uncovered. Ban Keely and Laura for life, and give Steve Scott his gold medals!
Take drugs out of the equation. They both can still be tested without competing at Worlds by random testing. They already completed in meet(s) plus the USA Championships in which they most likely were tested.
Outside the United States competing as individuals, Mu/McLaughlin cannot be protected by USATF. Inside the United States, if they test positive, USATF can punish them, do nothing, bury the results, or come up with lame "tainted meat" excuses. Did any Russian athlete ever test positive or be sanctioned for testing positive within Russian borders? They were protected.

There are so many posters who just reek of racism from their every keystroke. Did either of them fail drug test at the previous Worlds and Olympics? When they set their AR and WR.
I cannot understand why these two athletes garner so much doping accusations but not F. Bol, J. Ingrigtsen, or K. Warholm?

lol you must not spend a lot of time here. so many posts about those people doping..especially warholm (who i think is a VERY obvious doper)
They made a deal with ADA to withdraw and they wouldn't pursue them. These kinds of deals are made in smoke filled backrooms all the time. Just ask Hunter Biden.
Bol, Warholm & co aren't coached by one of the most notorious doping coaches in the history of the sport, that's why.
SydKnee McLaughlin & IDGAFing Mu could possibly have had whereabouts violations, worked with the authorities to get 12 months & not 24, and lawyers negotiated a non-disclosure with the AIU to keep their names out of the media. It can happen, believe me. However that would be really bad coincidence for both to have missed 3, so it could just be one of them (take your pick!).
Or either one of them may have failed a test and again, as part of the agreement, USADA wont publish the name.
Equally, Mr Kersee may have seen the competition and decided to start the build up to Paris with a humongous doping programme now. Keep them away from the meets and the testers as much as he can. Yes, they will still get tested anyway, but why make it more risky by going to meets where they know they will be tested. This has happened in the history of the sport, and I know of cases from the 1990s when Andy Norman, the British promoter & agent, would negotiate American participation at UK meetings on the basis that they would not be doped tested. In fact, at one international meeting he agreed to destroy ALL the urine samples of US athletes competing. It happened then and it happens now. It's just different players.
The explanation that we are expected to believe: SydKnee has a minor injury & it's not worth risking competing with the Olympics next season is absolutely plausible if we had more information. What exactly is the injury? Other withdrawals have stated their injury, why can't SydKnee? Is it that Kersee's ego is so big that she can actually run, but she's 98% not 100% and he doesn't want to be 'embarrassed' when she runs 49.2 and gets beaten by a Paulino or Naser, or, worse still, a compatriot? (Wilson). Protect the brand....both his and SydKnees...
That the Worlds are not significant enough to start when not quite 100% is very sad, and just shows these woman won't be in the sport for that much longer. I always though they would retire after LA 2028, but I can't see them competing for another 5 years.
SYDNEY McLAUGHLIN-LEV & ATHING MU: The real reason they're skipping Worlds
....
After the recent news that Sydney WILL be missing Worlds and Athing announced earlier she may skip Worlds it got me thinking. Both athletes have shown they are in great form and a threat for another title, maybe not a lock but certainly one of the favorites. They both have expressed:
1.) They want to attack 2 of the oldest world records in women's athletics.
2.) They are strongly considering doubling at the Olympics.
1) One of them wants to build a church. 2) The other one wants to be worshipped (on the catwalk).
This is why Jakob Ingebrigsten has cemented himself as a legend of the sport and they haven’t. He loves to compete and race hard. Sure all three of them have Olympic Gold, but Jakob’s 7:54 or 3:27 races were just as exciting as his Olympic win.
Essentially, McLaughlin and Mu are Smashmouth, a one hit wonder, and Jakob is McCartney/Lennon in their primes

Well done, loved your post and the spelling of the names.

Or
It could be you a a racist hell bent on scandalizing two athletes simply because of the color of their and their coach's skin. You come up with idiotic scenario with no proof; however, they remain two of the sports biggest stars with or without me and you approval or following.
So many racist and unjustified dope allegations that I now wish them a long career and even more successful career in athletics!
