I agree. Her level of poise and intelligence at 19 is unmatched. I hope she doesn't read any of the negative posts. I really hope she snags an NIL deal. I will contribute if that is allowed.

Yep! I would contribute to a NIL arrangement as well. A forward thinking shoe company would be very wise to snag her early while they can probably get a multi-year commitment inexpensively. And, yes, Addy MUST ignore all the trolls, but she seems to be quite good at that!

You're nuts if you think a talented athlete running 1:59 in super shoes 50 years later is shady.
I think you are just weak athletes. She's over 5 seconds off the wr. Even if the wr is shady
She has a long way to go. If she runs 1:56 next race you can cast aspersions

1972 adidas titan was a very fine shoe. Factor in a super bouncy Munchen track and you easily have a 1:58.55 by an East German.
Ur super spike loses something on a super bouncy track.

Tuohy didn't get an NIL deal until her junior year. Roisin Willis ran 1:59 in high school and didn't get an NIL deal until recently as well.
Its better for Addy to focus on her training instead of getting distracted chasing small sponsors.

What distance running needs is a watershed like what happened in cycling. Jenny was a doper herself, so this isn’t exactly a ringing endorsement.
