I used it on Thiago Braz and shared my findings with the AIU. He only started using last year after a disappointing follow-up to defending his Olympic Gold medal in Tokyo. He received the substance from a doctor after arrangement by Mr. Rosa.
- Assume the public knows you received this power and HAS TO accept what you find out (and you are required to truthfully share it). Basically, these message boards can't be full of posts saying you're lying or "how can we trust the magic actually worked?"
- You would also learn how each instance of PEDs got in athlete X's body (for the cases like Shelby's, Gatlin, Ajee Wilson, etc.), and where they got it from. This could potentially expose a dirty coach / agent as well.
- You can pick an active or retired athlete.
- WA and any other organizations are still free to do whatever they want after learning this information. They will also treat it as fact.
Curious how many people here would use this power to go after something they think was doping vs. try to prove their favorite athlete was clean? Keep in mind, the answer you get might be the opposite of what you were hoping for!
I'd have an auction here at Letsrun. I'd let the highest bidder tell me who to ask about. I don't care that much about anyone in particular. There'd still be too many others to wonder about.
Does this cover stuff that hadn't been banned at the time eg blood doping in the 70s...
I'll say it covers everything that's prohibited now. The magic would reveal any blood doping for an early 70s runners chosen and we as the public would have to debate the impact on their legacy given it wasn't illegal at the time.
On the other side of the coin, the magic won't catch any new drug pros are using now that isn't prohibited yet.
I love it how a certain college runner with a huge NIL deal and seemed to just explode with records right after signing that deal and then just completely bottomed out just as quickly was mentioned in either post #27 or #38 and it was deleted. Sorry guys, but your little princess is no longer the horse to bet on. Her days at the top are over. I also remember a few people mentioned wejo and those are gone, too. Funny, I thought wejo said he took it as a compliment that people thought he was doing? And someone else mentioned one of the moderators. At least we learned who the only three people on Earth are that are safe from accusations on this message board.
