Well, this DL 5000 may be a deciding factor for Hassan. She did run a great 10 and backed it up with a solid 1500 six weeks ago in Hengelo, so not sure why you think she can’t hold up in the 5000. It’s true that Faith may be unbeatable in that race too. Is is clear Kipyegon is going to double? No chance Hassan runs the marathon when she’s going to run another in Chicago so soon after. Also, I can’t imagine Hassan only runs one event in Budapest.
Yes Kipyegon is doubling, she said so at the Kenyan trials just to "see whats possible for Paris" (sidebar does training with kipchoge automatically mean you start sounding like a fortune cookie?) I also think its wise she does so now a la el gherrouj in 03/4 just to get the experience.
Hassan might only choose the 10k because her 5k record is a bit fickle, I know she is the OC but she lost more 5ks against quality fields than she has won
3:32 sounds about right for Hocker if the race goes fast, more likely he runs 3:33. Personally, I don't think we'll see anyone under 3:30. Jakob has pulled all these DL fields to great times this year, no one has even broken 3:31 in a race without Jakob. A lot of these guys are going to be watching each other, smelling their chance of a rare DL win in the absence of Jakob
It might not be a straight time trial but it should go under 3:31 with this field, weather permitting. Someone will try to lay down a fast time and/or prefer their chances in a faster race. And yeah, Cheruiyot has won 21 DL races so the prospect of that honor might not affect his decision making too much.

Ever heard of 2019 world champion, Timothy Cheriyout?
I certainly have. When did he last run sub-3:30 without Jakob in the race? Monaco 2021
In what world is Mario García hispanic? He is white and from Spain, Europe, or you call Italians hispanics as well?
He's considered hispanic in the world where people who say "ya'll don't be trespassin' now or I'll be forced to protect my property" live.
Answer: Mario García Romo is Hispanic in the US for the purposes of college admissions, certain scholarships, and government contractors’ hiring. Diversity counts, and ya gotta keep those federal dollars rolling in. Plus, I expect no one asked him. If you go back far enough, inhabitants of Spain have included: Celt-Iberians, a Celtic race; Phoenicians; Greeks; Romans; Visigoths; Arabs (800 years); finally, descendants of any and (more likely) all of these groups. Remember: Hispanic is just a box to tick (optional) on the census form. Nada más.
Mario Garcia challenging Jakob? Watch the final in the European champs last year where Jakob easily outsprinted Mario in a race WITHOUT PACEMAKERS. AND JAKOB IS OBVIOUSLY ONE LEVEL UP FROM LAST YEAR.
