I was replying to the person who wondered why she gets large attention...as I said she is only 21 in an event were most hit top ability at age 25. She will be major factor in the years to come.
KT was incredible in HS but we have a lot of fast girls in college now. It's just that big of a deal anymore. I actually would put more stock on Valby but she appears very fragile.
I don’t understand the flurry of posts and threads about this runner. Many other finals had much younger athletes who performed much better. Why discuss a 7th placer ?

I didn't look for very long but just top 7 is a weird metric to begin with so here's 4 more
Tuohy dug deep on that last lap to catch Weini Kelati with her 32.1s last lap, only Cranny was faster than her on the last lap!
Katelyn was down 8 behind Kelati with four laps to go ... amazing last mile!
If one were to walk all laps and then sprint the last one only anyone claim it was an awesome final lap? In the end, the actual result for her wasn't a podium. So my point is why the flattering words over the last lap? It could be rephrased as "nice effort but came up short." That said, I like watching her race. But sometimes, you just get beat.
Shes 21 and already running like this without altitude pro training... good luck to the pros when she turns pro and trains altitude.. i mean look at kriss gear.
This was said about many others before her. Sadly, only 50% of those actually did anything when they turned pro. Where's Mary Cain?
