Saying she "hasn't suffered" when she's missing two Olympics for a first time offense is a bit of a moronic statement.

She's spent two years of funemployment road tripping, following her old team around like a puppy dog, and living the life. God forbid there are consequences to actions.

Real suffering is a lot different than not making an Olympic team because you cheated.

What exactly would a more adequate punishment than a suspension? Public flogging?

Shelby’s suspension covers two Olympics, two world championships, and massive loss of income. That is suffering.

The fact that she stooped so low to run a beer mile shows how much she misses the sport.

Until Shelby it was outside 6 minutes while the men's is 4:28. That's a way bigger difference than the pure running records.

I’m being sarcastic of course, but really I don’t know what you want. I 100% think Houlihan cheated, lied, and deserves her 4 year ban, but I can’t choose to resent her for not quitting running, voluntarily joining a chain gang and engaging in daily self-flagellation. It actually seems like I’m better off not caring as much about what she does as you seem to.
