I think universally and in the US an adult is "an adult" at age 21 +.

This may be too young actually. The brain (apparently, as I understand it) continues to develop until a person reaches age 25 or until they read trollism on Let's Run, whichever comes first.

This was a good post in general. It is an extremely layered situation. At that age I said and did a lot of dumb $h*t myself. I was not great at thinking through the ramifications or possible outcomes of my decisions. So while I don't fully & necessarily give her a pass on everything I do fully understand there is some nuance to this and she is still very young, still growing and hopefully learning. That being said I think it might take her some time to see that if she stays in that environment she will have a cloud of suspicion that follows her and that maybe isn't best for her overall well being and future in the sport.

Honest questions. Do you think the Huntington situation should be mentioned in every single thread about her? Is it possible to have more tempered discussions about her performances without having some posters $h*tt*ng on her every time she does something remarkable?

This interview was nothing but a fluff piece that failed to ask the harder hitting questions like “Since you reneged on your commitment to CU, how has your coaching situation changed since the news story broke in October?” “If you’re legally not able to talk about it, who is now prescribing your workouts and building your schedule to get ready for big meets?”

I can guarantee you, the current NAIA HU coaches are probably not as versed in an athlete as talented as her to construct a separate workout program and meets without creating animosity with her other teammates.
