I think this is where opinions may differ. If Sydney is able to extract that extra bit of power and endurance through prayer, why would anyone be against it? She is a woman of the Lord, and the Lord is almighty.

This isn't a comment on her personal beliefs. This is about publicly showing it an every opportunity. If a pre-race prayer led by her husband helps her, great stuff, but prayer should be a private thing, we don't need to see it in these videos.
