Bislett has been full for decades. Jakob or no Jakob. It was absloutely wild at midnight 1985 when Steve Cram ran worldrecord at the mile and Said Auoita at the 5000. And when Ron Clarke ran in the 70ties. Bislett 15000. And a lot of people disappointed because they are to late for tickets.
Oh really? Not counting the Olympic trials, what American city do you think would attract 15,000 spectators to a track meet? The answer is none of them.
Icahn Stadium where the NYC Grand Prix is being held holds 5K. I doubt it will come close to selling out.
