Nope. That is not the way anti-doping works. Athletes have been banned from events based on ongoing investigations, journalistic reports, etc.

As a member of a XC and track program in the same NAIA conference as Huntington (Crossroads League), I remember the murmurs I would hear about Huntington's shady activities. I left at the end of 2019, but even then there were eyebrows being raised. I distinctly remember my coach (whom I have always had enormous respect for, even though we never saw eye to eye on a lot of things) telling one of our female athletes to hold her head up and see herself as the true winner after a conference race where the only women who beat her were Huntington athletes (one of whom would go on to be a named whistleblower in this whole ongoing case). This coach is not at all the type to speak ill of other teams and coaches, so I remember thinking at the time that this was strange. Now it seems much less so.

I’m also a former crossroads league runner. Agree with what you said. This was all pretty common knowledge between every team in the league. The doping allegations started basically as soon as the Johnsons got there. When the top HU female runners are the most shredded and muscular athletes at a track meet, you know something weird is going on.
Which runners have been banned based on journalistic reports without a positive test (or rather, with two or three clean tests)?
Way to go, Addy.
Screw all of you people slandering her.
Happened in cycling when Rasmussen was pulled out of a TDF he was winning when a reporter came forward to say he had seen Rasmussen in Italy when he claimed to be in Mexico. Happened with Basso and Ulrich with Operacion Puerta. Happened with Balco. Granted distance running does not do as good a job. But the idea that you must wait for a positive test to act is silly.
This sport in a nutshell.

This is what happens when you choose to work with and stay connected to corrupt people and a toxic environment.
What is? She is vompeting at a high leve. She has fewer haters than Tuohy. I guess those are the things you were referring to.
The new coach has Wiley sleeping in altitude tents….Was that his idea or Nick’s idea?
Also she hates David Woods because he broke the story and declines interview from him specifically but takes interviews from a different dyestat person.
The women who were sexually assaulted aren't victims?

Reading the article it sure doesn't look like she is leaving Huntington anytime soon to join a D1 school.

When did the new coaches tell you that they expect everything to disappear? I doubt they did. Do you expect that they should not run meets? I think the coach was hired to coach.
You are correct, I have never seen/heard the new coaches say they expect everything to disappear.
I have only seen a Huntington athlete on television defending the prior disgraced coach. And results of a Huntington athlete run a local turkey trot with the disgraced coach. And the confirmed sighting of the disgraced coach at a Huntington indoor track meet. I guess those consecutive incidents informed my impression of at least Roark's leadership. That and he's seemed prefectly fine promoting his program through an athlete he fully knows should never be competing for Huntington.
Neideck hasn't been there long so not much to go off of except his press release where he said he looked "forward to contributing to the athletic department under the leadership and vision of Lori Culler." Kissing the ring of the new boss that presided over this disaster both with Nick as head coach and then with Lauren is a bit of a shaky start personally.
They are in a tough position but not one that they did not know about before they came to Huntington. I do expect them to coach and do the best for their teams. I hope they can prove to be stronger leaders than their administration. Jury is still out.

Liar. 60/200/400/800 finals are not there either because it was on NBC.
only seems to happen to you
Liar. Click on the final of one of those events and tell me what you get. There are no finals there for those events, only prelims.
Sexually assaulting a woman (or man) is disgusting and must be punished.
But you can't have your cake and eat it too.
EITHER she is a victim and fights the perpetrator, OR she doesn't and isn't.
Please provide more information on this question.

So is David Woods from Dyestat the same David Woods that got fired from the Indy newspaper for breaking the news about Huntington? I did not know that. Sounds like the whole town is run by that school - what a joke. Why decline an interview if there is nothing to hide? Good to read that the other top female distance runners showed some self respect and left the team and hopefully they will be successful with their new teams.
usually I’m not one to comment on these dumb takes but I had to make an account just to share what I whitenessed. as someone at the cross roads cross country conference meet. David constantly harassed and made Wiley and her team uncomfortable. I watched him run to chase her out of the post race corral, she was running away from him. Parents had to form a wall to separate him from chasing her, other girls on the team were crying because they were scared of david, and they had to threaten to call the cops on David. Then a cop stood at HU’s team camp the rest of the meet. David left before the boys race even started. He makes Wiley (and obviously other women) uncomfortable. They owe him nothing and despite what side of this you are on it’s obvious David has posted things about Wiley constantly to the point it’s creepy. She has no reason to talk to him if she doesn’t want to, she owes him nothing.it’s also irronic that the next business day David was no longer employed by the Indy star, but if you want to buy his story of a buyout go ahead. Remember this is the same guy who wrote a story trying to ‘bring awareness to rape’ but put it behind a pay wall to make a buck.
