Should prostitution be federally legalized and made a constitutional right

I know plenty of ugly guys in happy relationships. Their secret is they know they are 2s and realize that means they date 2s. They also don't have a woe is me attitude towards life.

If you need to look like Robert Pattinson to get dates, the problem isn't your looks. It is you horrible personality.

Maybe you are in the bottom 1% with horrible burn scars and the like. It is possible. But it is far more likely you are just a deluded.

at least here in brazil female 2s don't waste their time with male 2s. They get to have sex with 7s, sometimes marry 6s. Why would they waste their time with their equals?

And that's exactly why 60% of the male population here only has sex with prostitutes.

Prostitution is good paliative measure, but actually we should be talking about ugliness as it was a disease to end it once and for all.

Only ugly people like me realize how life is simply a waste of time when you're ugly.

Nothing is as unattractive on a man as dire, poisonous self-loathing. Nothing is as attractive on a man as stable, positive confidence (except maybe money and social status). Why would a woman love a man who hates himself?

The Supreme Court already recognizes that your erotic life should be free from state control. It seems a small step to allow prostitution. A law made by the legislature would pass muster. A change in the Constitution is not needed. What is needed is a legislature that is willing to pass prostitution laws.

Sure, a picture of an attractive homeless guy got shared by lots of people on Facebook. Meanwhile, there are millions of fat ugly dads with loving families out there. Looks are helpful for attracting initial attention from women, but confidence and status keep them around. You have nothing to lose by trying to develop some appreciation for yourself.

Because there is basically zero chances a 7 will go out with a 2. Unless you are living in a place with about 10x as many men as woman, it will not happen. Why would a 7 date a 2 when there are plenty of 5s who want a date.

And you see that in real life where pretty much every couple is pretty close. With exceptions for rich guys dating trophy wives..

So life is a waste of time if you can't attract someone? You can race 5Ks if you're ugly, and that's fun, not a waste of time. And there are tons of other hobbies out there that are just as enjoyable.

The problem is there's women who are 2s & 3s that want (and expect) to date men who are 7s, 8s & 9s ("Chads"). It's so bad that some 2s/3s would rather share a Chad with several other women than settle down with a sub-5 guy all to themselves.

General comments from a person who has been paying for sex for the past 30 years:

- plenty of men/boys are prostitutes. They serve male clients. Not all of these men/boys are themselves gay. ¶

- Incels are not the only ones visiting prostitutes. Married men, and guys who just want to get laid. ¶

- The money prostitutes can make is considerable. In a regulated environment, this number goes up considerably. Regulation makes the market bigger, and increases the number of people earning a solid income, safely. It can also increase the black market of those avoiding regulation. This is true of most markets e.g. cannabis. ¶

- Prostitutes themselves are people like us. One I visit updates me about her son, how he's doing in school etc. For them, it is a job. For the client, it is a service. ¶

- Lastly, the comments in this thread are laughably American. Prudish, prurient and parochial. Sex is a normal thing, and almost all of us enjoy it. If making a market for it allows everyone to have a better life, where is the issue.

Prostitution in and of itself is harmless. Is it somewhat of a societal blight? Sure. But does it physically harm anyone (assuming no passing of STI/Ds)? No.

Now, the grey area comes in how it is promoted, accessed, policed and organized. Women are especially prone to violence and slave-like conditions. Not sure how that would or could be circumvented.

In all, it's a harmless profession. If we allow porn in all it's full glory, why not prostitution? Do your drugs, be pro-choice, I really could not care less.

Just because I, we, may not agree with something is not a good enough reason to place legal bonds on it. Especially when those bonds are on the human body of which we get one and only.

You just chose to ignore the threads about human trafficking? There are not enough willing participants on the female side to support a legal market. Most women are concerned about the financial, social and health ramifications of having sex with multiple dirty men.

Sure, there are women out there with unrealistic expectations. There are men with unrealistic expectations, too. People with unrealistic expectations have always existed. Social media creates them, enables them, and makes them highly visible. That does not mean that all women have unrealistic expectations about looks. If you only pursue women who prioritize looks, of course you're only going to find hypergamous women. Hypergamy is only viable for women who do not intend to invest in their partners - why invest if they're always on the lookout for a better option? But if you look for women who prioritize emotional and socioeconomic investment in a relationship, then you might have more luck. Your blanket statement about women's expectations want shows that you are either unwilling or unable to identify women who prioritize investment. Become something that women want to invest in emotionally and socioeconomically rather than physically and your search will become much easier.
