I am a liberal, and I know he did it. It is generally accepted that Simpson murdered those two people by pretty much everyone. I don't know a single person, liberal or not, who believes he is innocent of that crime.
Are you 20 years old? At the time, the Simpson case verdict split the country on ideological grounds. Liberals cheered when he was acquitted, believing a gang of racist white cops had tried to frame another black man and the verdict was a vindication. Conservatives believed the jury was completely wrong and that there was evidence beyond a reasonable doubt that Simpson was guilty. The Simpson case involved the media's earliest dabblings in Wokeism; endless liberal pundits telling us how wrong white people were for not seeing the systemic white racism incarcerating black people, especially successful ones.
Nonsense. Just about everybody I hung out with at that time was liberal and exactly zero of them took his side or cheered when he was acquitted. Where did you get that from?
For many people, OJ’s blood being at the crime scene was game, set and match. His country club buddies all ditched him when the blood results became public.
Plus, very conveniently, a fairly significant slice of his finger.
1) Ron Goldman was a soccer and tennis player in high school. No football, no wrestling.
2) O.J. Simpson had world-class speed, played professional football, made other professional football players look like children on the field (first 2,000-yard rusher in NFL history).
3) Professional athletes, compared to normal people, are not human. A professional athlete can do things that have to be seen to be believed. Television does not do justice to the abilities of professional athletes. Seeing professional athletes compete against OTHER professional athletes does not do justice to the abilities of professional athletes. O.J. Simpson was a freak of nature even compared to other professional athletes.
4) Sprinters are extremely strong. Sprinters are extremely quick. Extremely = incomprehensibly.
5) Football players, all good football players (even on the high school level), are completely comfortable in a fight. They’ve been hit, and hit hard, hundreds of times. The good ones LIKE fighting. The great ones LOVE fighting. (Many football players simply don’t fight because they are afraid of what they can do to their opponent -- but believe me, they aren’t afraid of physical conflict on any level.
6) Conclusion: Believe what you want about Simpson’s guilt, but here is one FACT: Ron Goldman would have stood zero chance against an armed O.J. Simpson (even at 47). ZERO. THREE Ron Goldmans would have stood ZERO chance.
If you are basing a conclusion that O.J. is innocent of the murder of two people on any belief that O.J. was not physically capable of killing two people, you are living in a fantasy world.
All that may have been true when OJ was in his prime athletically and very likely at the time on roids. But we are talking about a washed up 47 year old with a shredded knee. It's not the same person.
Seriously, that you continue to maintain this fanciful nonsense shows only one thing is shredded around here and that is your brain.

You don't know that.
You believe it.
I think there is a small chance he did not do it. Also a chance he did not do it alone
Nah. I know it. I know it to the same level that I know we have a sun. I suppose it could all be a dream and that we are an experiment in a petri dish.

No chance he didn't do it.
UNless you were there, or can provide definitive evidence he did do it, you don't know.
Femboi is a child. I am over twenty years older than OJ was when he killed his wife and her friend. I play tennis against some who are half my age and I beat them easily, despite two metal hips. At 47 it was easy for me to keep pace with twenty years olds. I am not and have never been the athlete Simpson was. Armed with a knife - and his rage - and taking them by surprise - they weren't expecting to be murdered - Simpson would have been unstoppable. By anyone.
This thread is nothing more than an argument by someone with no grasp of any of the facts of the case, who has attempted to build a "case" from his own infantile misconceptions. 12 people who were given the facts after the circus that was his criminal trial had no difficulty in coming to the truth. He killed two people.

Not true. Black people cheered (and I honestly don't blame them) because a black person finally was found not guilty. I don't believe most of them actually thought he was innocent. Liberals as a group definitely did not cheer that verdict. There was not a liberal vs. conservative thing going on there with that verdict. You are flat wrong.
I was working in Washington DC at the time, and a bunch of us headed over to the closest department store when the verdict came down, and we watched it on a million televisions. I was SHOCKED when all the black people cheered the verdict, and all of us white people (all liberals that I was with) were stunned and disappointed. I DID consider then if perhaps my race had a hand in my feeling that day, but it did not.

No - you believe. Given that everything you spout is wrong we can be safe the truth is the opposite of whatever you maintain. The civil jury decision has proved that.

Okay, you put a finer point on it than I did. Liberals, perhaps not completely 100% buying the factual theory that the specific gang of racist white cops in the Simpson case framed Simpson for a murder he did not commit, nonetheless cheered the verdict. As you said, "I honestly don't blame them." Right or wrong, to this day, liberals see the Simpson verdict as a vindication of their slogans regarding systemic white supremacy in America. To liberals, the Simpson case was a hallmark of the civil rights movement.

It wasn't. It was an embarrassment. The wrong black person got acquitted.

I’ve had a reasonably deep cut on a finger maybe 2-3 times in my life so it was quite the coincidence. OJ provided 4 possible explanations which were cutting it while chipping golf balls in the backyard, on a sharp edge on his cellphone, on broken glass in a sink in his hotel room in Chicago where he broke a glass or from “wrasslin” with his son.

Still waiting for support for your 70% figure. Or really all of your assertions.

Nah. You're wrong. Everyone has told you here that you're wrong. It was divided along racial lines, not political ones. Liberals aren't holding that case up as anything.
1) There IS systemic racism and elitism in policing. That is undeniable.
2) Simpson got off mostly due to his wealth and celebrity that allowed him to afford the best defense a person can get...and then a little bit of celebrity power didn't hurt him either.
3) I UNDERSTAND why the black people in the crowd I was in cheered that day. I did not and do not agree with their sentiment. It DID surprise me, but it also helped me understand how they felt, and their feelings are justified due to poor treatment by white people in this country since our founding. They weren't cheering that O.J. Simpson the man was found not guilty. They were cheering because finally a black man was found innocent. If you can't understand that, then you aren't observant or caring or understanding or mindful or a whole host of other things.
Tuck your tail and try again another day with another subject. You are flat wrong on this one. And in case you didn't know, you're a dumb@ss.
How can at a time 47 year old O.J with a bad knee take down two significantly younger physically fit people? Nicole was 35 years old and ran 9 miles a day, Ron Goldman was 25 years old and reportedly a black belt in karate. It just doesn't add up.
OK...then who did do it? Who else had motive and opportunity? Who else was witnessed being violent towards his wife in front of people? Why did he run? Why did he threaten to kill himself? Why was he found guilty in a civil court? ... now play the race card...
