Its about control. She could/probably has a bunch of nannies for the kids, gets flown around the country to do whatever the hell she wants, somehow the fact that she can't dictate his schedule is the wedge issue. What a loser
The reality is that Tom Brady is 45 years old and he has a weak offensive line. He can still ball and he's still fit, but it is undeniable that he is tempting fate by continuing to play a violent sport at his age. It only takes one big boy smacking the piss out of him from behind to dramatically alter the course of the rest of his life. Hundreds of NFL players have ended their careers being carted off the field in a stretcher and it's not impossible that Tom Brady will face the same fate this year. (Or next.) The fact that his wife doesn't want to see that come to pass does not make her a control freak or a loser.
He's got more money than God. He's accomplished more in football than anyone ever will. He has absolutely nothing left to prove. But he can't stop playing. That obsession is a big reason why he's the GOAT, but it's kind of sad, really.
Not even a TB fan personally, but calling him "sad" is a reach.
Was it sad after his 3rd, 4th, 5th ring? Why's it sad just now?

Because now it appears that he may be sacrificing his marriage to keep playing football as as the oldest player in the league, after repeated public pronouncements that he wants retire in order to focus on his family and do other stuff with his life. He's miraculously healthy for his age/occupation, he's got his money, he has nothing left to gain because he has won all there is to win, but he's gonna go out there and put his body on the line anyway.
It is clear that he does not know how to be happy if he isn't playing. I find that to be a little sad.
Tom played this right. Giselle is a supermodel. Once he sheds his star quarterback status for good she will get bored and find a side piece + take a good chunk of change in the divorce. He figured if that's gonna happen anyway he may as well play ball.
She's old. 42, twenty years past her prime and well on her way to 50. He's not going to want to bang some old hag when he can have as many 20 year olds as he wants.

The reality is that Brady is a narcissist, he needs to be in the headlines, he lives for it. and more importantly, deep down he is insecure, he needs the headlines to feel a senses if worth.
and third, he is trying to sell his garbage, he has Brady clothing, the NFT’s and the TB12 junk, once he stops playing it’s all worthless. It is all marketing, big risk if his O line doesn’t protect him.
My gosh, when my wife and I get into a dispute the first thing that doesn't come to mind is what would Tom Brady think. I could give two darns what he or his ex wife are thinking.
Watch your tone, buddy. No need to use language like that here.

I don't really like Giselle because I don't see what all the hype is about, but you're a massive dong, dude. You're the type of guy to make us all look bad because you're like "Hurr durr, 20 year olds or nothing." You're a clown

Calling Tom a narcissist, and ignoring the fact that Giselle was a supermodel who was banging Leo forever is a pretty narrow and siloed take.
She's not even on the back 9 of her career, she's out of the game. Tom's still out contending (competitively) for Super Bowls.

Doesn't necessarily seem sad to me.
Perhaps he loves playing football at the professional level. Why should he give that up? Why would his wife insist that he give up doing what he loves?
Of course, injuries are always a possibility in the NFL. So, something to keep in mind. But if that is the issue then every single player in the NFL is "sad" because they are risking their health to play the game.
Tommy Trumper should have retired after he won his Super Bowl with Tampa. He effectively rid himself of the tired argument that he could only win with Belichek, could have gone out on top. Could he do it again? Perhaps, not likely.

Perhaps his livelihood isn't entirely predicated on Belichek.

He clearly likes playing football. why is that hard to understand? People like to play sports. That’s the whole point. And he gets paid to do it.
