If Keely ran the same time as she did in last year's Olympics, she would taken the Commonwealth title while jogging the final 20 meters and blowing kisses to the crowd. I mean, maybe she will end up running 1500 meters, but this loss isn't because she wasn't fast enough to keep up with the competition. It was because he wasn't good enough to keep up with herself.

The answer is that no they are not tested, or if they are tested that they are allowed to compete in the wrong events anyway.
OF COURSE they are tested. And ever since Caster Semenya lost the court case back in 2019, biological males have been banned from the women's 800. Learn your history.
DSD / XY athletes are not 'banned' from the 800m. I wish people would stop saying this because it is just not true. Look it up. The policy states just have to agree to suppress testosterone for 6 months ( to a level that is still higher than XX runners can achieve naturally).
