Palatine from IL has a freshman Alex Krieg. 4:44 in the 1600. And a 16:24 in the 3-mile. He was also a #2 runner for Palatine for a race that they had this year.

Palatine is a strong program that went to NXN in 2011.

Palatine also has an incoming 8th grader Jack Jennings who ran a 4:49 1600 / 16:27 3-mile who will look to make an immediate impact for them next year.

Southlake Carroll Freshman Caden Leonard just ran a 9:36 tonight.

Landon Kimmel just ran a 9:34 on a road race 2 miler. I ran in the race as well and GPS had 2.01 miles, so it was accurate. He runs for Tippecanoe HS in Tipp City, Ohio. As an 8th grader he was MS XC state champ, and he also won outdoor state championships in 1600 running 4:26.
