Walk the Camino de Santiago. It’s a trail in norther Spain which takes 30-35 days. You will learn a lot about history and yourself, meet many people from all over the world, see amazing nature etc. it’s about 500 miles. Not a joke it will change your life.
The global lockdowns of 2020-2022 because of the Wuhan bioweapon release were unnecessary and a gross violation of human rights.
As a society, we'll be dealing without the fallout of or governments' decisions over those years for decades.
Never forget that your government stole 2-3 years of your life during a time when you should have been out in the world, developing your life, and moving forward.
As you try to get your life moving forward, always remember, your elected officials don't care about you or your life.

It definitely didn't help. I was 32 when it happened.
Career(s) unfulfilling. Studied physics at university which was interesting to me, but real world careers have no use for advanced knowledge and everything is process driven. I feel like there is nothing out there for me.
Reached my ceiling with running, I think. Good enough for a 70-80% age grading, but not good enough to turn PRO.
Friends and relationships. Very hard to meet new people.
Day to day living - tedious. Hate driving to and from work and being stuck in traffic on gridlocked roads (I live in the UK). Can't get away from cars.
Food. Supermarket food is bland and tasteless.
Social media is a car crash. I am on Facebook to keep in touch with my running club and my feed consists of 40-60 years olds going through their mid-life crisis. Very tempted to delete. Never used instagram but that consists of 20-40 year olds PRETENDING to have a great life.
Television - sh ite, to be honest. There's nothing on. So I'm on the computer playing games.
Entertainment - I've already heard all the best music and watched the classic films.
Internet forums - died around 2010, maybe earlier. Now forums are full of hostility.
News - dumbed down, biased and 24/7 negativity.
Can't think of anything else right now.
Get someone pregnant and have a kid. Your life will never be dull or boring another second.
I accidentally knocked up my girlfriend of 2 months at age 29. She was having the baby no matter what, with or without me. Thought my self-absorbed life was over and there was no way things could ever work out. Ended up plunging in and we fell in love, got married a year later, and now 20 years and 3 awesome kids later, I thank her every day for helping me to make the best decision of my entire life.

Start up your own business in something your passionate about or will make you money, and run it alongside your full time job until it becomes ones profitable.
Do something to change your life.
Move to a rural area and commute to work? Move to another country to work? Build your own house?
I think you've probably missed the boat as far as relationships are concerned. Most of the best women are snapped up soon after university. If you choose a partner well, they make your life more fulfilling, help you buy a better home (if there's two of you) and you do not have to waste half your life doing pointless dating. My friends are mostly lawyers and doctors, they are all fit, slim and good looking, earning well and moving into larger houses with 2 foreign holidays per year. You will not meet one of these women playing computer games or on internet forums.

Great advice. Or better still, hike the GR11. Look it up.

You have a very one dimensional view on life. We are not all wealthy and privileged Americans.
Wow, not sure how I missed this when it was originally posted but this is pretty spot on how my 30s are going too. For me the worst is Monday when I realize that I am just getting back on the merry-go-round to do another week of the same thing. Social media is definitely a factor because it always shows me how my friends and people I used to know are all crushing it, while I feel totally stuck and apathetic about changing my situation.
What's also frustrating is as a guy I really do feel like no one cares. The general attitude is to grow up/man up and just fix it. Get a better job! Go out and find someone! Go back to school! Stop complaining dude, you're a guy! It's pretty discouraging to see a lot of these replies are essentially the same because I feel like at this stage most people have tried all these things. Like what do you do when you try to make improvements in your life but the universe just tells you no? I personally have applied to plenty of better jobs that I feel like I might be interested in but never hear back. I've had some good dates in the past that feel like they might be going somewhere and then just get ghosted or have things fall off.
I'll stop bellyaching on 2 year old thread and get back to work but man did this hit the nail on the head!
What has helped me is finding a base of friends and hobbies before doing relationships w/opposite sex, then also going to therapy.
I do think that going back to school helps in terms of job competitiveness. It's a white-collar world, and that degree counts. A lot of women are ambitious, more so than men, and are taking advantage of higher degrees to get great upper-middle-class jobs.

While I am pro-vacks and have no issues taking it, same with wearing a mask if someone asks me, I can see the news media every fall ramping up coverage of the next "virus" to generate clicks. It's a framework of fear because a lot of people my age still will get tested if they have the sniffles, etc. (If they have terrible covid regardless they will stay at home, tested or not). Psychologically the fear component is still kept alive, rather than "it's covid, but it's a bad cold/flu," stay home and away from people, etc.
