Did you know that in the whole of the 90's and 00's and up until 2019, there was only 3 US marathon runners who ran PR's in the 2:09 range. Two of them were already in their 20's as the 90's started. The third one is the closest to your age range and goes by the name Alan Culpepper who graduated college when you were 13.
So I went even further and filtered results to performances and not just PR's and included every performance whether course eligible or not and looked at the year of birth of all sub-2:10 marathon performances. I was even generous and extended the possible years of your college career to throw an even wider net(Any Birth year from 1975-1990 with your birth year being either 82/83) though most of them attended college when it is extremely improbable that you did
The only possible returns would be these guys:
Meb Keflezighi(graduated in 98, when you would have been 15/16)
Abdi Abdirahman(graduated in 99, when you would have been 16/17)
Leonard Korir(Still living in Kenya when you 'retired' in 2008)
Scott Smith(only turned pro in 2010, 2 years after your retirement)
Jared Ward(doesn't drink, Latter Day Saints)
There is really only 3 people who have recorded a sub 2:10 performance that would have been college eligible and/or graduated Highschool in your timeframe:
Ryan Hall
Dathan Ritzenhein
Galen Rupp
I'd struggle to call any of them 2:09 guys as they all have substantially faster PR's than that though LRC did like to call Rupp a 2:09 guy for a while:p). So essentially, all the evidence points to you being a liar and making up your whole story just to preach at others ironically enough.
