That's why I said she finished second.
Its just a bit unusual for your feet to be 6th over the line and your torso second.

Man, I felt bad for Bol there. She hit her head pretty squarely on the fall. Really hope she'll still be able to duke it out with Miller-Uibo in the final.
Also felt bad for Camille Laus. I was glad to see that Jessie Knight's DQ was overruled because I didn't think she did anything wrong. But for a while there Laus was in the semis, and that would have been great to see.
Absolutely crazy scene in the third semi of the women's 60m; the officials DQed the wrong runner for a false start and the crowd shamed them into changing it to the correct runner. (There's an argument that maybe nobody should have been DQed; the Spanish pentathlete Conte packed up her gear and moved through the runners' eyeline between Set and Go.)
Kendell Williams is now in Bronze Medal position (women's Pentathlon) after Chari Hawkins does not score in long jump.

Interesting to see the officials' display for the false starts. I don't think I've seen red and green lights replacing folks with flags for the jumps before either.
Tentoglou is looking incredible
The women's shot is going bananas
8.27 for Dendy in Silver position!
Gold for Dongmo with a crazy 20.43, USA Chase Eealy takes silver also over 20 meters
Women's 3k is about to go off!
The 20 women seem to be out clean!
GDS and Purrier out front with Chebet! Monson is sitting around 6th at about 400m in. Hailu towards the back. There are so many women on the track that it's hard to even identify where everyone is!
Cruising through 800m in 2:27.
The Ethiopians have all moved up into the top 5. Chebet still there. The Americans and GDS right behind.
The lead is being traded off. Still the Ethiopians, Chebet, the Americans, and GDS up front.
They've gone through 1600m in about 4:50
No one has made a decisive move yet. Taye is leading the pack but it's mostly the same players still with just under 800m to go
Purrier and GDS are with the three Ethiopians going into the last lap!
Elle Purrier St-Pierre takes 2nd!! Hailu 1st, Taye 3rd
Tremendous move on the homestretch to protect her position. Well run.
