It definitely raises some questions however I actually believe Lomong and Jager are injured. This post was extremely vague and she kind of talked in a circle without revealing anything. I think she just knew she wasn't in shape to make the team and obviously Lulu signed her as shes an olympian. Don't think that, at least in her mind she might not think it looks good to not make the team and such as thats her main selling point anyway for the brand.

Quigs is done with running shes obviously not fully in on it anymore which is fine but she shouldn't be making these stupid posts about it 24/7 i know shes an influencer but jeez

Look at the woman's Strava. Massively inconsistent. Smashing some weeks all out then ages with no activity - those gaps also always lining up with her posting "mermaid" swimming posts on social media. People have been calling her injured and not running trials for months. Nothing suspicious about it - just couldn't get healthy and kept pushing returns too hard.

Also what's with the number of people in this thread thinking Quigley is still with BTC??

This is why Nike puts that you have to run into the contracts I assume however

This is 100% why Nike has contractual races. They are professional runners. They have to race so of course Nike will require them to do so. No reason for them to invest in an athlete who will just take their money and go

She’s called another athlete’s eating disorder baggage in her “disappearing abs” post. If she were to be diagnosed with a mental disorder, it would be narcissism. She has also been heard in athlete circles that “anybody who runs slower than 9:45 is a donkey”. She’s afraid to lose to a “donkey”. Don’t let the barrier hit her on the way out of the sport.

On the citius podcast, she cited how she didn’t like it that Jerry had them racing so infrequently as one of her annoyances with BTC.

There’s got to be legitimate revenge in her after the DQ at 2017 World’s still.

I watched her video and in addition to be cringe and awkward af, I really don't think she is injured. She seems scared to lose publicly and look foolish. Something is wrong with her mentally. I won't pile on but she needs help.

Someone asked me after the 2018 season what I thought the women’s steeple scene would look like in the future. I responded that Colleen would be an “influencer” and no longer globally competitive. Courtney would lower the AR to 8:55 but still be beat most often by Coburn at US Champs. And that Coburn would continue to insinuate that anyone under 9:00 is on drugs including Courtney. So far so good! Wish I had it in writing!

Something is off kilter about this video, for sure. If she's injured, why won't she describe the injury?

I think Colleen has other interests outside of running and over the years she has drifted towards that model-y part of her. Maybe she wants something different now.

I wrote the above a little carelessly. Something is "off kilter" meaning that I think there is something going on with her that is serious and needs to be kept private. No burrito jokes please, that's not waht I'm saying. I hope she is okay.
