im guessing the main break points are 2.0/3.5 mmol on most threshold work, depending if youre working the Aerobic Threshold or the Lactate Threshold.

I'm a "mature" athlete, but overdoing tempo runs and hard workouts led to an Achilles tendon problem. When I return to training, I vow to "throw it down" no more that two times per week.

my assumptions are as follows:
AM Threshold sessions <2.2 mmol
PM Threshold sessions <3.5 mmol
Hill sessions <6.0 mmol (probably lower)
Sprint Sessions <8.0 mmol
I've heard 2.0 and 3.0 for the AM/PM sessions, but only have seen that one time.
Every other day, maybe. And that is only if you are really controlling that effort through HR/lactate testing.

Every other day for about 8 days, then you’re spent for another 8 days, so, pointless.

for reference, you could probably run MWF at Daniels M pace for 30-40 minutes no problem, week in, week out (putting you around 2.0 mmol)
If you are going to go to T level work, then you either need to stack the workout, or take more days in between, say SWS Threshold and start the cycle on different days (3.0-3.5 mmol with at least 2 days in between sessions.

What if one was to run up to one hour everyday 30/45" slower than the stated Daniels M pace?
