Why didn't you compete in the NCAA starting at age 28. If it doesn't break any rules, you had that option. If it does break a rule, cite the rule here. Give us a link. That wave of East Africans was good. You were not.

Man nobody gives Suleiman Nyambui his due...first NCAA runner to win 4 straight in the 10000m, tied with Ches for most individual NCAA titles, and an Olympic 5000m silver in '80. Top 5 men's collegians list has to put him up there with Ches and Rono...probably Pre and Lindgren too
I personally still like cheserek as the best overall but I think it's more of a stretch to say him over rono. Going off absolute raw talent I like Lalang. I think on his best day in college he could beat any all time great
It’s on USATF TV / RunnerSpace. It’s behind a paywall. I think it’s $14.95 a month. I will pay it, but still won’t ever give Flotrack a dime.
It's kinda frustrating this is behind a paywall. Only because our sport isn't always behind the same paywall. Feel like you need a dozen subscriptions to keep up with things. It's frustrating because you can turn on ESPN & find some trash college basketball team but 1 hr of good track coverage is behind a paywall.
why don’t you like flotrack?

Choosing a winner in the 3000 given how little we've seen of all these guys due to COVID is a bit of a fool's errand. Who knows how their training has gone. For all we know, Gregorek is back in 3:49 shape (unlikely, but who knows!).
So, with that as a caveat, I will take McDonald because I have almost never seen him have a bad race and he is a monster. But the most talented guy in the field is Cheserek so he's my darkhorse, Jager and Kincaid would be in the mix if hey were in peak shape, but I'm thinking those days are behind Jager, and Kincaid has too extensive an injury history for me to assume he'll be ready to go.

Agree. All I could find were live results:
https://results.wingfootfinish.com/meets/7114/events/230864/resultsEveryone except Alexa negative split. It went out in 63. Very impressive finish from Johnson. She has to be moving up the favorite list for the Olympic team at 1500 at this point...
weird race by efraimson, felt like she panicked that she was leading and ran a slow 63 first lap wanting someone to pass her, then when they did she just fell behind the whole pack. I hope Pete Julien's training helps her out once shes more adjusted to it
beyond Simpson/Houlihan
Johnson, Purrier, Schweizer(?), McGee, Grace

Did Efraimson fall? That's pretty horrific.

Quigley wearing a Puma jersey. That was rumored in the thread but I did not know that was confirmed.
