Do you think Mayor Pete or Liz Warren or Bernie Sanders or Kamala Harris would have taken out the second highest ranking person in Iran even knowing that had killed killed many Americans before and that he was about to kill more Americans? Of course not. Not even Biden. Warren and Sanders are too worried about their socialist agendas. They don't care about national security. Mayor Pete has some major problems as well. Trump saw a threat, he recognized that threat and he terminated that threat. About as cut-and-dry as you can get. Trump will definitely win re-election.

In 3 years the media has been trashing Trump nonstop but not once have they suggesting he is creating new terrorists. Why? By your logic the US should be going around assassinating any state leaders who we know are responsible for the death of civilians. Why not just go ahead and pop Kim and Putin too while we are at it? No consequences to be considered right? What is our strategy for dealing with Iran? What will be our strategy now that we know they are going to retaliate? Are you ok with Trump taking out ANY target under any circumstance? Supposedly there was some imminent threat, are you interested in confirmation or lets just go with whatever Pompeo says? Think though these questions and you will be slightly less stupid.
